Viki Edge

The bridge in your home.

Viki Edge runs on a computer in your house and automatically discovers what lives on your network — Matter, Zigbee and Z-Wave devices, cameras, Shelly, Hue, Sonos and more — and bridges them to your Viki house. Pair it once with an 8-character code; everything it finds appears in your app.

One command installs the daemon with its own runtime, registers the system service, and leaves you one step from pairing. arm64 and x64, no display needed.

Then run viki-edge pair and approve the 8-character code in your Viki app.

Why does Windows or Linux warn me about this download?

The macOS (Apple Silicon) build is signed with our Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple, so it opens normally — no warning. The Windows and Linux installers are not code-signed yet: on Windows click More infoRun anyway; on Linux verify the download against the SHA-256 sums below and chmod +x the AppImage. (An older, unsigned macOS build may still prompt “Apple cannot verify…”; re-download the current one, or open it once and click Open Anyway in System Settings → Privacy & Security.)

System requirements
  • macOS 12+ (Apple Silicon or Intel), Windows 10+ 64-bit, or Linux with glibc 2.28+ (Alpine/musl is not supported).
  • Raspberry Pi 4/5 or any arm64/x64 server for the headless install.
  • Zigbee/Z-Wave need a USB coordinator stick plugged into the same machine.
  • The gateway only makes outbound connections — no port-forwarding required.
